Brasen Hill Farm has been keeping us alive. No joke. When we began sheltering in place in March 2020, we committed to shopping as locally as possible: enter Brasen Hill Farm (BHF).We began with a massive (for us, and unbelievably delicious) meat order, then quickly moved to including their incredible eggs, honey, and otherworldly veg (name it, we have loved it, in every single season) in our weekly carts. We’ve been profoundly grateful for other staple products from BHF’s like-minded sources: grain offerings (granolas, breads, flours); dairy products (cream, milk, cheeses); maple syrup; nuts; seeds. We’ve also been so happy with seasonal offerings from BHF and partners: berries in the spring, tomatoes in the summer, fresh turkey and pies in the fall have all been standouts for us. It would be impossible to overstate how easy contact-free pick up has been and how deeply fortunate we feel to have thoughtful, ethical BHF farmers as neighbors.
